I think I just witnessed a new type of griefing.

Not bringing the enmy flag to your bse.

On meteoVPS server, we just was about to win for the 3rd time in a row. Keep in mind it was that map that gives blue the height advantage, so we were excited. Then the flag carrier just buried himself in stone, and stayed there. We managed to unbury him, but then he refused to put the flag to the base.

I think there should be some way to grab the flag from another player... a baton pass for the flag might be interesting.

 

Or just make the flag return to the enemy base automatically if too much time passes. Plus make it a serverside option, so smaller map servers can make the time limit smaller and big map servers can make the time limit much bigger.

 

I've seen this before, a couple times. It's usually the same person who is griefing the structures and generally sabotaging his own team in any way possible who will do this. Take the flag and not run it to the tent. Try to kill the person who capped the flag or try to impede him to getting back to base, etc.

At the moment, the only way to pass the flag, is for the person who has it to voluntarily throw it.

 

Just get an admin to explode bedrock all over his face. Or tabkick him out.
