    Right now w/ spikes stunning they are really powerful to just lay in front of your base.
    This also stops people like @Gurin from droppin' spikes on me all the time :<

    Spikes have been, for the most part, useless to anyone with half a brain. I don't believe that this would be a considerate feature to push.
