I recently suffered from insomnia, during my many hours awake I thought of what a group of players might be able to acheive if they work together, so I came up with these, I don't know if any of these have been posted before though.
(Note: the even numbers are offensive varients of the odd numbers, no.5 is in a class of its own.)

    1: The Box.
You will need: 3 Knights and a destination.
How to perform: Have 1 Knight facing each common direction, Left, Right and Up. Then move in unision to your destination.
What this does: Makes an arrow-proof shield, ideal for crossing large open areas.
How to counter: A bomb put anywhere near the Box will cause the Knights to attempt to block the blast, leaving them open to archer attack.

    2: Jack n' the Box.
You will need: 3 Knights and at least 1 archer and/or builder. (the more archers the more potent your attack.)
How to perform: Make "The Box" see above, then have an archer and/or builder stand in the centre. the archer and/or builder is effectively defended from three angles at once, the builder is kept safe and can build ladders to help you progress.
What this does: the archer and/or builder is effectively defended from three angles at one the archer can shoot at the enemies whilst staying safe and the builder is kept safe and can build ladders to help you progress forward. Ideal for tunnel combat.
How to counter: Throw a bomb, blast from bombs don't stop if they hit a sheild, so the archer and/or builder will be killed.

    3: Tower.
You will need: 2 Knights per tower level, and an exellent sense of timing.
How to Perform: Every level you want to make, have a knight sheild towards you detination and one sheild upwards. stack your units up the tower levels.
What this does: Creates an effective sheilded portable ladder system, assuming you run on mostly flat ground.
How to counter: Bombs, simply land one near the base of the tower, they'll tumble to the Earth

    4: Siege Tower.
You will need: 2 Knights, 1 builder per tower level, and at least 1 archer every 3 levels, and an exellent sense of timing.
How to perform: same as "Tower" see above, but add a builder and an archer every few levels
What this does: same as "Tower" see above, but now arrows fly from your mobile team, builders can destroy enemy structures that obstuct your path.
How to counter: same as "Tower" see above.

    5: Caravaning.
You will need: at least 1 Catapult, 1 outpost, 2 Knights, 2 builders, 2 archers and a lot of stone (for the catapult.)
How to perform: have 1 builder pick up the catapult and the other pick up the outpost, the rest of the units will defend the builders, now begin to move towards your destination, usefull for tunnel insurgencies. (outpost acts as a spawn point, catapult destroys enemy structures easily.)
What this does: Creates a big distraction, allowing your team mates to press their assault.
How to counter: This is a very hard tactic to counter, not even bombs can be effective enough to fully destroy a caravan, the best way is to swarm the caravan with Knights, though this leaves your base open to attack.

I'm not a fan of any of these; and the first 4 will make for excellent bomb fodder.
Protecting your backside means there's an enemy behind your attackers-> this means you are doing it wrong.

I'd have 2 knights, 1 builder and everyone else as archer and turtle in base. Then watch everyone realize how hax a turtling team is.
Split archers up into 3man groups; use voice chat so each archer group targets 1 shielded knight - sync up charged shots and dominate.
Archers can jump down and chop for arrows inbetween waves, while they and builder pour all coins into bombs for the knights.
Change tactics when they begin tunneling/building mega mid fort/skybridge.
