KAG Administrator

Hi Guys,

I am writing this forum post as I wish to ask something.

I have been playing KAG for quite a while now and have had and spent my time enjoying myself. I would still like to do this, but be able to give back to the experiences that KAG has provided me with.

This is why I am wishing to become a server admin or administrator of KAG. Now I know that ity is not exactly that easy.

So basically what I am trying to say is that I am opening my self up to take on one of these roles if it becomes available to me. But, things like this do not come around often.

Basically, I am advising all that I am here and available to help you, if needed. Also, it shows on the KAG Forums that I am a new member, but I can assure you that I have been playing KAG for quite some time. I have only just recently joined the forums and hope to come and help out.

I have also had a look around the place and seem to understand the way everything works here on the forums. I hope that I can use what I have learnt, with the skills I already have.

I hope that what I have written here ends up somewhere and that I am used in the KAG community, but I am not exactly sure.

Admins (Guards) are selected by current guards based on forum activity and helpfulness in the community. If you're serious about being an admin, remain active here. We do not, however, grant admin powers by request; it's something you have to earn.

 

This is sort of what I said. I know, I am just chucking it out there.

 

the guards would normally watch what you do, the help you provide and certain other conditions etc etc.

but if you want to help with servers etc when i boot my server up i can provide you temporary moderator privileges on it to see if you handle things well and the sort

 

Ok. Is there anything I need to do?

 

In many ways, it's not something you can work for. If you're good guard material, it will become apparent as a matter of course.

 

unless you slip some $ in geti's pocket and buy him taco's (still not guaranteed to be in BTW)

 

Are there tacos in Australia?

Also, you may wish to ask server owners for rcon if you're eager to help people.

 

theres taco's but not as good as south american ones.

ot: As i said as soon as i get off my ass and learn how to make a server i'll let you be moderator for a while

one little tip
"Nice picture. You can obviously see that someone has greifed, but how can we be sure that it is him?
Have you got a text log that we can have a look at?

Also, it is good that you are doing this, but could you edit this post and use the correct report format?

don't try act like a administrator as his screenshot is enough to prove it as he the griefer didn't boast about it or admit it (my brother was in-game) so the chat log itself would be useless but the screenshot shows him there and the rest is up to shad.

Acting like a admin like that is also impersonating rights if you went a bit further (one "admin" post doesn't make you look better as its alot about trust as you could end up being a game guard)

 

Look, I was just trying to help. I have tried to contribute to the whole KAG Community but every time I do, I get criticised.

Ok, but I wasn't in-game and you cannot really tell if that was by him or not. I was trying to help, that was all I was doing.

 

Just be helpfully active on a range of servers, even if it does mean occasional massive lag and if you are guard material then you will be noticed. I wish you the best of luck in future endeavours. I also advise everyone to just let this thread taper off into nothingness as it is no longer needed.

 

Tip: Asking may lower your chances, at least from my knowledge. But, if you do gain a reputation in game and among the forums, your chances will increase. Honestly if anyone is going to become a guard, I would recommend BlueLuigi.

 

What does a guard do, and do you think I could become one despite my many infractions and warnings? (I accidentally did stuff and got in trouble I ain't bad.)
