KAG community tournament!

I gave the codes to @makmoud98 to hopefully still do the tournament as I won't be able to! Also, I haven't had access to a computer until now. Sorry peeps.​

Hello all! Tis I, Turtle (The Hero of Ages)

I have decided to host a 1v1 Arena style CTF (CTF to enable builder spawn) tournament on the frail hope to benefit and grow the community, because face it, this is an amazing game, and we need to raise awareness so KAG WILL NEVER DIE!

Special thanks to @Guro for Sponsoring the tournament, and providing 10 KAG keys!​

The Tournament will be starting on 10/24/2014 (Friday), and will be happening through the weekend if needed.​

• Winners will receive a copy of King Arthur's Gold, to do with as they please, although I hope they will do the responsible thing, and gift it to a friend or those in need.
• To redeem the winning codes/activate them through steam, as they were purchased through the official KAG site, check these FAQ'S:

• There will be 10 copies to go around, thanks to @Guro for sponsoring this!

• There will be one tournament in each of these parts of the world, EU/RUS, AUS, SA, and US/CAN. The amount of copies of KAG will be allocated depending on the amount of entries per region.

• The Tournament will start at 8PM in each region, so be there, or be disqualified!

• There are no class restrictions. (Knight vs Archer, Builder vs Knight, etc)

• Winners will be determined by BO3 (Best of 3)

IMPORTANT FOR SIGNUPS:
To signup, PM me (DO NOT just post on here) with details on where you are from and if your game account is different than your forum name and I will make a list to post on here as the signups progress.

(4 Days prior to the Tournament)

All players will be required to join an IRC channel to be determined at a later date, to be able to be called upon to join the server.

I will be personally moderating the event, and plan on being on all day to do it. @makmoud98 will be Streaming the event live via Twitch.tv!

If anyone is willing to lend a server in any one of the regions to use for the tournament, it would be much appreciated, and would make it so I didn't have to rent servers in each area. (I'm poor ) Was able to square out an agreement with @jrgp to rent servers for a single day for the event. Thanks so much man! Wasn't able to get one for SA, so if someone can help with that, it would be greatly appreciated!

Here's an idea. We do 1v1 arena duels to determine who will be in the final CTF tournament.

on second thought, I think it will be best for everybody if it's 1v1 tournaments in each region, then one winner from each region gets a copy. TDM game mode

And by the way, fantastic idea. I would love to join in.

 

Either way, it sounds good man. Thank you over and under for wanting to do it by region. ARL was turds because of that, glad to see this tourney won't suffer the same consequences lol.

One last thing: make sure people you sign up are gonna actually play or are actually somewhat active, there were tons of people in this one tourney that could never get their act together and show up so it never finished out

I have my strategy
first, I will go archer and slowly peck at a knight to gain gold
then I will spam water arrows while getting gold from the kills in an infinite loop until there are no knights/archers
