Windows KAG KAG doesn't start

    Konnichiwa,

    What happens if you run nolauncher.bat in the KAG folder?
    Do you have antivirus installed? Try disabling it.
    Did it ever work before?

    Fuzzle, thank you.
    Nolauncher.bat has run and I'v been able to play.
    Though I stopped Norton, nothing changed.
    When I bought KAG in December 2016, a similar problem occured.

    You can workaround this by setting nolauncher as an argument for the command in Steam. This will disable the launcher, remove it if you want it again (for changing the resolution for example).
    Right click King Arthur's Gold > Properties > Set startup settings > type "nolauncher". Now you should be able to run the game from Steam.

    I don't think that disabling any Anti-Virus ever truly disables it completely. Always some core functionalities will be there. So if something was blocked it will be kept this way until you uninstall (that piece of software called Anti-Virus which basically just hogs info about you and sells it to 3rd parties).

    So, my recommendation would be to go to your Norton settings and add KAG.exe to its exceptions.

    Thank you.
    I was able to run KAG from Steam by AsuMagic's answer.
    But I'm sad that I can't send friend request to nice player.

    I tried adding its folder to Norton exception but the game wan`t started.
