Hey dudes and dudettes. Just for fun, I mocked up a KAG logo concept today! The "King Arthur's" text is a little hard to read with the wood texture and the tonal qualities being kind of dark, and I think that the size difference of the two lines might be too much, but whatever - I did this for fun. Suck it, perfectionism.

Also, no promises on how it looks scaled down. It might be totally illegible and weird.

    What do you guys think?

Edit: I added smaller vector versions on dark and white. Less cheesy. ;)

Feels a little cheesy, but it is certainly appealing to the eye.

It's pleasant for eyes, but it's not so fitty to KAG. If I would not know what King Arthur's Gold is, I'd think of some 3D Minecrafty gold hunting medieval game ;)

I like small light version best. I think maybe the logo needs to be straightened, it looks silly in a (somewhat) arc.

There really is no need to emphasize "Gold." It looks good but doesn't match KAG's "air."

    Nice!

One critique I have is that gold should be slightly reflective. It looks a little too diffuse/matte to appear as gold.

I agree with it looking a bit cheesy (the "GOLD" in fact looks like the texture of nacho cheese), and the over emphasis on the word gold.

With that emphasis in mind, I suggest all words have the same texture, possibly being just all gold or all stone (with bits of moss, brick, etc as that would fit the theme of KAG a bit more.

Also, I had difficulty discerning that "G" as the letter G and instead read it as a C :P . I think a more medieval/old english font would be nicer too, and less cartoony (like the original logo text, but not as extravagant and curdled).

I like the small white BG rendition the best.
