A 2day quickhack project of mine. Might make minor improvements.
A realtime hackandslash in ASCII. That's about it.
Features include a sword you can swing around, gore and a persistent map, a cheat and a wacky intro!

I liked it, but since I'm playing on a laptop, is damm hard to move around.
PS: I loved the blood effect.

EDIT: Also, I laughed at 'Undead' and 'Redead'

Updated to v 1.1, mostly fixing some dumb memory leaks (leaking the entire zombie array on retry lol) and might solve some of the crashes some people are experiencing.

Very fun, but the controls are really difficult. It would be a lot more doable and fun if the sword continued swinging clockwise when you held one button, and counterclockwise when you held the other. To counter spamming, you could simply keep the sword from swinging further than a half-swing before pausing.

Very fun for a 2-day project, though. I kind of wish that more games played this way.
