What's the least requiring Linux system/version that can run dedicated server from http://kag2d.com/download ? I'm asking this because I want to host it on free VPS and that machine isn't very good.

Generally KAG is resource hog. It requires quite much processing power due to all the blobs (thousands of objects) being synchronised over the net and scripting which uses a lot resources as well.

As KAG works using a single thread, you would need only 1 core (dedicated if possible) as powerful as possible - 16 bad-medium cores will never beat 1 good core on kag.
It is not extremely resource hungry, just take a 1Gb - 1.5Gb server for a med-large server.
