    Genre?
    Simply variety, or actual customization?

    Borderlands is a good place if you just want a lot of variety, Torchlight 2 and others of it's type as well.

    Gimbal has very nice customization, ask Arcrave or Noburu about that stuff ;)

    Armored core is fucking amazing when it comes to customization. Not sure if it's available for PC, but if it is it would probably be graphically demanding. I'm sure there's some variants of the Mech combat /customization formula for the PC, so definitely look into that genre of videa.
