Looking for support

Hey guys I recently got a new rig and I have been wanting to record youtube videos/ stream for quite some time now. I was wondering if I could get some of you to come and check out my youtube channel (swift3500) and tell me what you think. I need some suggestions for some screen recording software and also video editing software. I will be purchasing software within the next few weeks after some research.

I am currently using open broadcaster software for my recordings and wondershare for my video editing software. I know this isn't the best and there are more out there that could probably do it better but that's what I need help with :P I run windows 8.1 so fraps is a no go :/

This is my most recent video. It has a watermark on it because I have not yet purchased the software full I am using a trial version. If this software is decent and I find satisfaction in the coming videos with it I may buy it for use.

Anyways thanks ahead of time for any of you that may enjoy my videos and subscribe/like and also any of you that give me ideas for software.

Ew. Windows 8.1

One suggestion. Get windows 7.

It seems that I was mistaken about fraps. From what I hear now it is possible to use it on windows 8.1. Also, I prefer 8.1 over windows 7. Windows 7 isn't better in my opinion and I feel like most people that say it is are just going with the crowd. They fixed a lot of the problems from windows 8 in windows 8.1. Thanks for the feedback though guys its much appreciated.

 

Ill make sure to watch your shows as long as you don't push your Windows 8 extremist views on me XD

Btw, I beta tested windows 8 and have 8.1 on my laptop. As someone going into a IT program, having windows 7 is a must. You have a lot more control over the advanced policies of your computer.

 

I am not pushing my views on anyone :P lol I am just saying windows 8.1 is not as bad as windows 8 and is viable. I am currently in a programming course for video game design and also my grandma is a college professor that teaches advanced computer science. That is who told me what I am saying. She prefers windows 7 too but says that windows 8.1 did things better than windows 8.

 

I gotcha man. Lol. Was just kidding. Windows 8.1 is way better than 8, that is for sure.

Also, congratz on the programming course. I guess having a youtube channel for gaming comes a bit more natural when you know the infrastructure that the game you are playing is built on.

 

That's a pretty amazing showcase right there, but I couldn't help thinking to myself, "oh, he's one of those people."
