   I have made a map PNG so now I need to know how do I test the map and how do I get the flags into the map? Please help me as I think this map would be really interesting in CTF. thanks

   First, open one of the vanilla CTF maps to see how it looks like in the image editor you're using;
   2nd., checking this does not hurt:

   when you've finished with the editing, open the game, go to Sandbox mode in Solo, open the console (Home key in windows) and type:
   /loadmap Mapnamehere.png
   
   you need to place .png after the name of the map.
