Map making...???

I would love to produce some decent CTF maps for some hosters to put in their servers.. has anyone some advice about how I can achieve this?

I will appologise in advance if this is in the wrong section in the forum... I couldn't figure it out if it is.

A thread will be created for your map/map-pack if you submit it as a resource (use the tab near the top of the page(next to forum)). As for getting map making advice, there are two groups (the ones with cartography in the names) an active group and an inactive group dedicated to map making that might be able to help you out, (that said you have to apply for them and present some of your maps you've made, so that might not be so helpful, but it might be useful).

I have made maps for 2d games before and I'm not too bad at it... I've got some cool ideas for CTF levels.

Those groups sound worthwhile checking out. I'm new to this website though so could you explain how I can get in contact with those groups?

If you wanted to make your own maps, use @numpad 's map making program.
