    • It's Mari0 (with a zero)
    • Yes, this is an actual game being developed - it is not a mod of any existing one and is not based on the original game code. It's coded using Löve framework
    • The game will be released 100% free
    • All the source code of the game will be available after release
    • The game will be released on Windows, OSX and Linux based systems.
    • Its OUT
    • Beta: When it's needed (likely never)

    When it will be released, will you want to play some co-op?

    I'm trying to enjoy the game, but I've been having bad frame rate issues. It's running almost 4x slower than the original Super Mario Bros.

    I'm currently working on a Mappack for this game, it will have Islands and Sunken Ruins. should be ready in about a week.

    Took a while getting used to using my left hand to handle all the movement controls...
    Anyway, I am also working on a puzzle mappack on my own! It would be cool to have all mappacks made by KAG forumers in this thread :P

    So, uh, whatever happened to, ya know, CHANGING THE CONTROLS IN THE OPTIONS? :P
    Also it seems kinda weird kinda weird complaining about the default controls, considering they're pretty much exactly the same as KAG, let alone every FPS since mice became common-place. o.O

    But Mario movements are different! It takes a while for him to get going and to slow down!
    Jump WAS assigned to Space, but I changed it to W, and that actually helped a lot. The other thing that took me a while to get used to was holding Shift to run, and the fact that for some reason, I couldn't jump directly after pressing Shift...
    I mean, it is the most ideal key mapping, it just takes longer to get used to the way Mario moves than other FPS's.
    And I wasn't complaining, just pointing out that it took a while for me to adapt... (although I just now realized you may not have been talking to me... :X)
     
  20. Same here. I'm used to just running through levels in my NSMB but here running is sooo awkwaaard.
