My sandbox adventures

My internet started acting goof like always so I decided to take some time and mess around with sandbox

It's a shame halls were created, actually.
Sandbox is pretty much useless, halls have everything you could possibly need.

 

how do halls make sandbox useless? Halls can't supply you with infinite materials

You what is fun to do. Spawn about 60-100 rafts when you the blue team. Then go to the top of the map and spawn water in. the rafts will all join together forming 1 giant deformed boat that will float to the other side of the maps, because of raft mechanics

 

Killing the trader in as many ways as you can think of never gets old for me. :D

 

They make shops useless, everything that makes sandbox kinda fun is replaced by a hall.
IMO, sandbox was better at the start of beta.

 

I thought the thing that made sandbox fun was having infinite resources to build, I don't see how putting storage, tunnles, barracks, and research in 1 building made it less fun at all, considering that !barracks, !tunnel, and !storage still work

 

you can still spawn the "warbase" in and from there you can craft crates that have nurserys, factoriesj, tunnles.

 

I wonder why all that work was put into the warbase just to never be released officially. I understand that the early testers might not have liked it, but it it looks so complete.

 

I know, but the fact it wasn't released in a vanilla unmodded gamemode is weird.

 

I find it fun to make huge castles, and fill them with rooms and stuff.
With Halls, the most important rooms are gone, and the others have to be researched, which means that you get one out of five of the possible buildings.
My castle is empty, and so is my soul. :(

 

Your castle can't really be empty. You can still spawn in barracks, nursery, kitchen, and research rooms. In your basement you could build it around stone ore and use a scroll of middas to say thats where you store your money. Your main den could be a hall. On the top you could have a little helipad where you can store your !bomber.

Amgtree is mean he no gut is really bad he mean U no get close he will hurt U bad is no good.

 

Instead of making it a sandbox they have in my opinion replaced it with a offline war mode. We just need a sandbox level with editor again :)
Plus building decent bases will have orrery much gone apart from a basic one by water. Build, is still there a bit, Destroy, if you destroy their base and then halls you have to rebuild it again...:(
