Name says it all, you are a scavenger in a post apocalyptic world after something happened.
    http://bluebottlegames.com/main/node/21
    So...
You wake up in an experimental tube with a creature trying to get a free meal.
The skills you choose and the moves you make can make the difference between you saying FUUU and you saying HELL YEAH.
You only live once so after you die you stay that way.
The game itself seems to be inspired a bit by old games, making it very hard and challenging.
You DON'T start with basic gear and you DON'T know what you need to make what(well your character does but he/she would rather die then sharing it).
So you better pick the right skills for surviving, be that the ability to either recognize shrooms and scavenge stuff from nature to fight your neighborhood friendly raider.
You search for clothes and weaponry in sub urban areas and look for water and other stuff in
Its a hex based game and you probably wont know what to do first.
Sadly I don't plan on revealing any more details.
A good game to waste some time and money on to support it.

Pretty cool game, in my book.
Though my Engineering genius guy got completely murdered by a bandit that was attacking with his fists.

Its better then eventually running out of supplies and searching everywhere just to find more raiders.

Any idea how to craft things?
I've saved up a ton of crap like rags and twine and I can't figure out how to use them.
And 1/3 times I scavenge just to find something useful a dogman shows up and either mortally wounds or cripples me with one hit. What the hell.

The only one i seem to know is that you need to be holding a knife(?) and one of those dead animals to skin them...
But seriously that was just one I saw, I couldn't even use it yet.

Yeah, crafting seems to be on the basis of finding it out by pure luck, if that many combos have even been added.
Just had another death - Serious roof collapse on crippled condition while looking for water. :(
Is there any way to use the nanobot kits?

Hmm, guessing out of nowhere but don't you think you need the medical perk for that?
Also I never managed to get my hands on a nanobot kit or anything more advanced then a rifle so I don't know :( .

You can get one right after the intro scene where you face your first dogman. Just click the medic option after you've beatenitup/lockeditout/hidfromit.

Edit: look at all this awesome shit I found in an abandoned storage shed. Bet I'll be dead in 5 days, though. Healing is pretty bad... Crowbar, Shoes, Monkey wrench, multitool, Binoculars, scope, Rifle sling, Rifle, clothes... This game is pretty unfair at times. I never had so much stuff from one time before.
    BiggestHitEverWOW.png
Now if only I could figure out how to put the scope on the Rifle. :(
Yup, some asshat showed up with a meat cleaver and killed me.

I figured out you use the nanorobotic kit by "consuming" it. The thingers inside are charges, just like the lighter fluid. You'll find you don't actually start to heal after using the kit: you have to rest, and in a few turns all your wounds are healed. Pretty nifty.

    My recipes:
Small twigs and bark or a newspaper, with a lighter, becomes a tiny campfire.
Small twigs and bark plus a stick, lit up becomes a lit campfire.
Multitooling a squirrel skins it to become a raw squirrel.
Then that raw squirrel can be spit-roasted by using it with a stick and a lit campfire.
For rifles, you can equip them with slings and scopes by adding an assortment of nuts and bolts to the recipe. Then carry the rifle on your back by consuming it.
Botany skill plus berries or mushrooms identifies them as poisonous or not.
Water droplet, a pot, and a campfire purifies your water.
I tried getting twine and bolts together with a soup can like they said in the blog but nothing showed up. Disappoint.

How did you even find those?
And I didn't even know we were supposed to sleep. I just assumed the first thing to do was sprint for four days toward the glow.
I've only made it once. There's not even that much there, just a random hobo shop.
Also, I believe you can make squirrel traps out of a stick, string, and metal. I'm not entirely sure.
    Tools I've found:
Multitool. No idea what it's used for, maybe skinning squirrels or opening things or making things.
Binoculars. Increases sight range when held in hands. Very useful when standing on hills.
Crowbar. Used for breaking stuff, and is pretty damned useful for getting extra scavenging stuff. Large loot bonus, though sneak is lowered quite a bit. Also a nifty weapon.
Lockpicking tools. Only found one of these, improves lockpick chances/rewards. Craftable with 8 screws + lockpick skill.
Pot. From what I've seen, has only two purposes. Those are to boil water and club people to death.
Stick. It's possible to get a two-hit kill with this. I wish combat was a bit better.
Meat Cleaver. Probably used to cut meat and to kill people. A bandit using one of these is a HUGE threat. You don't know how many times they've two-hit killed me.
Rifle. Has three (?) attack modes. One is the rifle butt, the other two are bullets. FMJ and something else. Bullets seem to be pretty rare and you probably aren't going to be able to kill a bandit with a loaded rifle.
Monkey Wrench. A weapon and a tool. Don't know how to use it, though, I just use it as a club until I can get a crowbar or a good cleaver.
Nanobot kit. Keep the case even if the charges are used up. It sells for lots of money.

Also, I think I just ate all of my lighter fluid when attempting to put it into a lighter. Apparently, Rick is pretty damned stupid.

Edit: I know game smillar to that, except generates everything and everything is possible. It's rogue-like game, name here if i'm correct: Cataclysm, link here:

Myopia + Feeble are great disability choices. :)
Right now, I just keep using the traits Metabolism + Night Vision + Athletic + Botany + Medic + Tracking/Trapping.
Botany and Night Vision are probably the most OP combination ever, searching anything with Night Vision increases Loot AND safety.
Also, you can get a multitool knife using Night Vision in the beginning. :)

    Anyone killed a dogman yet?
I'd like to know what they drop.
EDIT: Also, I just got a one-hit KO on a bandit by using a multitool blade. It's a little frustrating how unreliable combat is. Also, Meat Cleaver seems to be a pretty decent melee weapon. Frequent 2-3 hit kills.

    Yeah, dogmen don't drop anything.

I pick melee and strong, maybe athletic, and use them all on the first dogman. Something cool happens when you do that.

Yeah, death messages are pretty screwed up. Once I was wandering in the daylight, attracted a dogman, and was killed by it. The death message said I was killed by a bandit with a meat cleaver in my sleep and that I also died of heat exhaustion.

I once died of heat stroke and hypothermia at the same time after I was killed by a looter.

Starting out with physically buff character is great if you wanna do this the easy way: you can start 1-hit killing all enemies with a cleaver. Then you can scavenge at will to purposefully attract looters, kill them, and harvest their gear.
