Alrighty, new forum! Three cheers for citricsquid!
    Yay and suchlike!

Anyway. There is just SO much you are able to do in this forum. It is truly kick-ass.
As such, I would like to compile a list of tips for new users to help them to start using the forum to its full potential.
I'll start with a couple of things I've noticed but you folks should post tips too and I'll add them to the list!

    1. If you're a user from the old forums, don't forget to reclaim your old posts, its very simple. Follow this link for details.
    2. By default you automatically 'watch' all threads you create or reply to. The most useful thing about watching threads is you get notifications when they are responded to, but this can be very annoying when you have lots of auto-watched threads. So go to your account Preferences and turn off automatically watch threads! You can still watch a thread with the 'watch thread' button at the top of them.
    3. Conversations! You can now start a 'conversation' with any number of users - which are essentially private messages in the form of a private forum thread. Tip for clans: These are perfect for quickly creating a private clan thread without the hassle of setting up your own forum - YB already have ours!
    4. You can "like" posts.
    5. Us the "Alerts" at the top right of the forum. It really helps to stay up2date with every response to one of your actions. So...someone replied to a thread you watched, quoted one of your posts, liked one of your posts, followed your profile, you got a trophy, etc. Everything shows up there. Just hover over it and you've got the latest information needed.
    6. You can "follow" particular member of forum. It gives you ability to form your personal "News Feed"(your profile>your news feed). For example you can follow MM to always know what's new. Then you just go to your News Feed section and check there posts made by MM. It's pretty much useful.
    7. It seems that not everyone realises that you can add polls to threads - it's very handy for suggestion threads.
    8. When you're viewing threads you can see in the bottom dimmed text "Thread Display Options". You can sort there threads by:
    • Lase message time
    • Thread creation time
    • Title (alphabetical)
    • Number of replies
    • Number of views
    • First message likes
