Oximus' game list

I didn't found any rule like 1 game per thread, and there isnt another thread like this.

So lets begin.

Online RPG 3D zombie shooter: Deadfrontier.com

So i played this game a long while back. It has some really cool mechanisms like market depends on demand and offer, there are no npc that sale stuff market is controlled by the players. There is a loot system that will give you better rewards the deeper into the city you are. Missions and Outposts attacks. The learning curve is quite tough, personally i had to restart 3 times. There is a food system as well.

Downside i would say its very noob unfriendly not the game itself but the community (you will be lucky to find a high level who isnt a total dick). its a very grind intensive to lvl up and requires a ton of time to get good loot (some might see this as good?). And its in alpha so its buggy and the PVP isnt the best.

I played it for 7 months or so, quit cause there was a big update that changed from 2D to 3D and everything changed in ways i didnt liked it. i got top lvl 48 and got arguably the highest tier equipment (once thats done whats left?)

Anyways if you decide to give it a shot let me know i can give you some cash or advice

This i dont know how to describe: Backyard monsters

Its sort of a PvP city building tower defense type game.
There is a version for facebook and kongregate, tho the FB one gets updated like 3 months sooner.

Had a ton of fun with this game but ... i dont quite know why i quit lols.
Its a pretty fun game if you put some effort into base design.

Personally i was like the "attack everyone" guy but there is a downside to this. Attacking other players gives a lot of Exp but its not always worth the resources that you get, so basically you level up faster than your base does and then players that have the same level that you do can own you very easily. So it kinda balances out, which i like.

4 players co-op shooter: Alien Swarm

Its a free game made by Valve with a rather simple objective survive and kill. There are missions and levels different weapons and all that jazz.
There isnt a whole lot to say about this other than its fun but never actually beat it :c

Dwarf fortress
(this are more known so i wont put a description)

Its Realm not real.And this is helpful also DC Universe is free.

Yeah, I was a little curious as well, but was otherwise preoccupied.
I've edit the title of the thread, to better reflect the nature of the content, with the exception of DF.

 

I dont know that many single player free games (if any).
I like online games waaay more too.

 

There are tonnes of free single player games. A lot of the ones already mentioned in this forum section are free.

 

Alien Swarm is god tier, I thoroughly enjoyed that when it came out.
