Remove ladders and trap blocks lol

    Okay so this is a tongue in cheek suggestion, but hear me out.

    Trap blocks are the shittiest block type in kag. Unlike team platforms in classic, you can't press down to fall through them, and when spammed they're free stone doors for the enemy as only a builder or a knight with a keg on your side can break them. Basically to your team they're stone blocks but to the enemy team, they're free stone doors that they can slash through and pass through at will. They're awful.

    Ladders are equally bad. There is only one instance when a ladder is useful: Laddering over enemy defenses. Ladders spammed in your own base by teammates happen all the time, and 90% of the time in a completely pointless spot. You can already walljump back and forth to ascend most structures in your base quickly, the ladder forces like a 50% speed slowdown on anything that steps on it. Ladders suck.

    I'd rather have team platforms than ladders and trap blocks both. Failing that though, if you are unopposed to it, make ladders not have such a massive slowdown for the team, and make trap blocks passable to allies by pressing down. Please. Dear god please.

    I'm OK with exchanging trap blocks for trap bridges, as they are a better way to make the way up a tower for your team only (and they'd also have the same effect for enemies). But removing ladders? I have to say no to that. Ladders are a much easier item to slap down without caring too much about position so your team can quickly get over the enemy tower, and ladders should be the cheaper method.

    Yeah I'd easily go with that, except that recently instead of ladders I've found that slapping down the far more durable wood platforms or even stone blocks works out way better for enemy towers as enemy knights will either spend way more time slash destroying them or can't destroy them at all.

    Don't remove trap blocks, they serve their purpose of being traps pretty well, just add team bridges back in.
    Also, for the love of christ, don't remove ladders, they are integral to gameplay, they allow building to make paths up enemy fortifications, and to make fortifications which don't need to be within walljump distance of another fortification. Ladders also add some structural integrity to bases, because a ladder going up a stone tower with stone doors won't let a knight out, but walljump tower very well might.

    Except builders who use ladders for their towers aren't building correctly. Having the doors 6-8 tiles off the ground is the most preferable, any higher and you're slowing your team down more than the enemy. If you build a tower taller than that, you should always put doors lower (Unless the tower is easily climbable from a smaller nearby tower) nd maybe doors up top too in case of climbing archers.

    But yes if they just put team bridges back into kag 99% of my issues with the current trap block spam and ladder spam would be inert.
