Removing bombs

    Ok, Hello Kag people I think that bombs should be removed from the game. First off I want to make clear that kegs, mines and bomb arrows would stay. I think they should be removed because of serval reasons but I will only share the main ones: first ; the devs are allways saying that thier main focus is balance and fixing frame rates. I didn't make this game but I imange that many loops are involved in bombs so it would help in that department, second; while I use bombs when I play I find them annoying because only Knights can use them , they are way overpowered , and 2-3 bomb jumps can get you any wear on the map. Now you might be think that this couldn't happen because it would unbalance the game but I have an idea to fix that: ...

    SUCIDE BOMBINGS!!! :
    You grab a mine run up to other teams base press space and: BOOM!!! You make a keg sized explozion but with no fuskme so you die with it .Simple enough.



    If you don't like this idea please don't be mean or rude just leave constructive critasysm please

    Um....Bombs are the main ranged weapon of Knight. Removing them would be pointless

    There are some games where builders seem not to move forward and the only way to jump obstacles with knight is by bomb jumping. Removing bombs would be rediculous.

    Why would you remove bombs? They're the only thing that allows knights to scale wall, and kill archers. Nerfing bombs is like killing KAG itself.

    I'd say instead of removing bombs we give each class a buff instead. I was thinking laser-wielding dinosaur mounts? What do you think?

    Yes I agree that bombs are the only ranged weapon of the knight that's the point. A knight is not suposted to be ranged...

    I'm going to dissect the OP to make this clear of my (and a large chunk of the communities) opinion on this.

    Balance:
    Removing bombs would make knight vs archer combat extremely one sided, It would be like playing builder only using wood.
    Framerate Issues:
    I would love too see where you heard this, your frame-rate (someone correct me if i'm wrong please) depends on how many blobs your rendering in, bombs are not the most intensive thing in the game and probably wouldn't make much of a difference.

    Restriction of use:
    Your right, knights can only use bombs, kegs, and water bombs, but they can't use drills, bomb arrows, spikes, and other archer/builder items. Fortunately bombs have a nice cooking period, so if your playing archer you have plenty of time to high tail it out of there. Any death from an enemy is your fault, not theirs.

    Bomb-jumping:
    Again;
    If an enemy knight is in your base, its probably because your builders are doing a bad job of keeping them out, building too the top of the map isn't that hard. Even if they double/triple bomb-jump, they can't possibly have more than 2-3 bombs left, so if your base is fortified enough they won't do more than scratch it.

    Finishing point:
    I understand you frustration; but before you come here asking to have a feature removed, think about how much of a necessity it is too the game, but mainly it all comes down too this.

    Dumbest idea ever. I can not imagine a knight without bombs and I'm sure it would kill the game..
    (idk if KAG can be more ded)

    they should be completely removed, they cause lag spikes and that's the reason why Geti won't remove shotgun archer!
    I fully back this suggestion up with all my heart so bad scrubs like @Gurin will never be good again!!! :rektlord:

  14. So are you trying to say a knight should stand no chance against an Archer when they should be winning up close? I have to admit I kinda laughed when I read this.

    Want to take all mobility from a knight and make them utterly useless without a builder?

    This would completely ruin the game IMO.

    Second off instead they can suicide bomb instantly with the damage radius of a Keg ...

    Flag defense one layer? pah you just lost 4 layers to one knight here comes another four! Games over.

    Why is this even a thread? Bombs have been part of kag for years now, removing them would completely destroy the game and i would quit seeing as i derive 50% of my fun from them, if your a good archer you can easily avoid bad knights throwing bombs but if a good knight comes along and tries to kill you with a bomb it will be a little harder. overall just get over it and quit whining on such a skill based item in kag, if anything you should be complaining about water bomb boulder combos.....

    I just don't think I can imagine a KAG without bombs, I mean knights are nerfed enough as they are. You want to nerf them even further?
    The knight started was overpowered at the start, Think of knights way back were like lions, and now think of those lions on leashes. No bombs? No bomb-jumping, No ever killing an archer ever again also, not even being able to damage stone structures.
    Knights being suicide bombers? Seriously this isn't WII where kamikaze fighters actually existed in numbers.
    Also, not to mention the drop of skill ceiling, Knights would just be backstepping>slashing>jabbing.
    I'm having trouble deciding whether this is a troll thread or not.

    Yes I agree but like I said in my first post

    And I also want to promote agro builders becouse out I want to force players to cover them insted of letting them fend for themselves.

    I didn't hear this I just used logic becouse their would be a loop to see if a bomb is lit, to see if when it goes off, if people need to be damged by it ect and people just love to spam 3-4 bombs down so...

    yellow, do you understand that removing bombs is a very bad idea? First of all its in the game to make it more fun, second of all it balances the classes. If bombs were removed then archers would literally never die. Bombs have been in kag for a very long time, years in fact. Tell us actual legitimate reasons that actually make sense as to why they should be completely removed from kag.

    How about instead of removing bombs we could reduce the amount it launches people in the air. With this though there should be a way to more easily siege towers.

    This was already done in the knight nerf update, bomb jumps are nowhere near as effective as they used to be. in fact the change was to gliding itself which in turn nerfed the knight class as a whole and not just in the category of bombs.

    also i would like to point out that 3 people want bombs to be removed from kag, and 17 people would want it to stay in. of course this isnt everyones opinions but trust me, mostly everyone wants bombs to stay in the game.
