    You can edit which key it is in one of the config files.
    Problem is, the keys are on some sort of number system and not just named. If it's universal, you might be able to find it online.

    There definitely needs to be an easier way to edit keys.

    Are the current solutions temporary (with a fix coming in the future), or will the team chat key still be assigned to right-ctrl when the official Mac version of KAG comes out?

    This is rather as you named it "temporary solution". I'm sure it will be changed in future. (I'm bugging lately MM to include more key options in settings in-game). If default key for MAC won't be changed then for sure it will be easily alterable in settings.
