Forum Server Directory subforum changes

From now posts in that section don't count toward total users' post count.

 

This thread was created mostly for informational purposes. Likes still count there.

Actually, I'm pretty sure your previous posts in the section have been discounted from your post count already. To test, I deleted an old post of mine in the Server Directory, but my post count remained the same.

 

After further testing, it does seem that your posts in that forum before the forum changes have not been removed from your message count.

 

Probably I'd have to rebuild some post count cache files to remove the post count pre change (if it's possible at all).

 

Is it that important to get rid of the post count for the old posts? It just seems like unnecessary hassle to me, partially because it will just mean that most people who had huge post counts from there won't enlarge their hoard of canned meat much more on the whole, but especially if it would need to be done manually.

 

I didn't want to do it, for what is worth. I was just saying what could be done to achieve that.
