KAG Server Setup

This guide is for linux, it basically works the same as the alpha version. You just need different files.

Debian stable (squeeze) and other outdated OS's are not supported at the moment

First download the right files with:

wget http://dl.kag2d.com/kagbeta-linux32-dedicated.tar.gz

Then unpack the package with

Code:

tar -zxf kagbeta-linux32-dedicated.tar.gz

go to the right folder

Code:

cd kagbeta-linux32-dedicated

set the right mode to dedicatedserver.sh

Code:

chmod +x dedicatedserver.sh

Then run the server

Code:

./dedicatedserver.sh

You can configure your server by changing the configs at autoconfig.cfg located at the main KAG folder and the Rules folder you're pointing to at the autoconfig.cfg.
