Now, I've only tried this once, a long time ago. From the outside, it looks like a decent strategy game. When I tried it, it was staggeringly complicated that I could never get into it. There are 2 main obstacles that prevented (and are still preventing me from playing).

    1) Money. One thing I absolutely try to stay away from is pay 2 win games. From reading about it, the game allows you to pay for extra population, in game money etc. I can't get into the game really well without knowing that I could perhaps be on equal footing with other players. There is a 2 week expiration date on accounts for new players. Sadly.

    2) Learning curve. Now, I've got to admit, I like a learning curve. I like strategy games that are complicated, have lots of information. However, going back to my first reason, I don't really want to invest my time into something that I know will not really benefit me well.

Aside from that, I really, really wanted to get into this game. This looks like the best game out there to simulate all the mechanics of a country. I have no aversion to complication, but because of the money drawback, its prevented me from playing this otherwise interesting game. I want to know if anyone else has tried this game and if its worthwhile sinking a few bucks into to play it.
