Small Arrows = Unslashable / Bolts = Slashable

    One little tiny thing you missed in the last update, well, tiny in the sense that the idea itself is tiny while the actual item in game is literally huge.

    YOU CAN STILL SLASH BALLISTA BOLTS OUT OF THE AIR!!!

    I suggest you guys take it out of the game :wink:

    Also, on a side note, ballista are now firing 3 bomb bolts per shot. Don't know if that was intentional or not.

    3x ammo consumption was an intended nerf to bomb bolts.

    There is also now a 3 second firing delay between shots.

    Already-active ballistae also now do not switch to bomb bolts if you aquire the tech afterwards. In this case, you would need to make a new ballista.

    Ah ok. I must have missed the update log.

    Bolts are still slashable though :P

    How about we do the old switch-a-roo, and put normal arrow-slashing back, and remove ballista-bolt-slashing instead? Seems more balanced to me, but doesn't fix the issues people were crying about with arrow-slashing though.

    I like how you managed to anticipate that ballista-bolt-slashing was not removed though.

    I disagree, but I can see why some people feel this way. Personally the night before they removed arrow slashing I was up late practising the timing like a scientist! I honestly couldn't wait to try it out, but sure enough there was the update.:rekt:

    However I couldn't argue with it, a lot of people wanted archers to be less situational in supporting and this is how it's done. In my opinion when I face an average knight and archer together alone, I have to take precautions I didn't before. If I don't have any bombs or some nearby terrain advantage, I have to wait for back up! This is actually a great feature because it is less possible for a knight team wiping the enemy. Another reason is the fact any archer providing cover fire for me is extremely useful while I'm in combat. I also love that I don't get this hopeless feeling when I press tab and see my team is mostly archers! Lastly I noticed now that a new archer battle has started since the update, just on the outside of knight combat. Let me give an example, if blue team archer's were pushing red team archers back for periods of time. The knights on blue team no longer have there slash range and timing affected by the enemy archers.

    To sum it all up I think archer is now no longer situational, this is great thing. Bolt slashing shouldn't be taken out either because of how powerful ballista spam is when done properly. This is all just my opinion though.::):
