Mac [SOLVED] Game wont open after redownload

    I don't play the game through Steam.
    I was experiencing the same crashing issues that appear to be happening, so I decided to redownload the game. Now, whenever I try to open it, my Mac tells me that:
    "KAG" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the trash.​
    I presume this is happening for similar reasons to the game constantly crashing.
    I have not updated my Mac to iOS Sierra — I was told, before I experienced any crashes, that my game will crash if I updated. Not sure if that information's useful, to be honest.)

    pls guys

    SOLUTION (FOR ME, AT LEAST):
    • go to settings, select "security and privacy"
    • it may seem dodgy, but select "allow apps downloaded from anywhere"
    • place KAG in "applications" folder, and then open from there

    Check anti virus, Since a few of them say "KAG IS DANGEROUS!" etc etc, or just straight up remove the file that it thinks is dangerous. Check the folder for forceupdate.bat, Run that to see if it fixes.

    I don't think Macs have anti-viruses the way windows machines have them.

    Oh, AVG and AVAST have downloads for macs

    (Which AVG is one that detects kag.exe as a virus .-.)

    I had the same thing happen to me.

    To fix, I deleted both the game file and the download (the kag.zip thing) completely from the system (emptying trash).
    Then when redownloading and moving to the applications folder (and launching from there), the game seemed to work again.
