Somewhat useful, yet self-balanced glitch

The catapult can fire a full shot barrage with only 2 stone in its ammo compartment, now this means you can stack a whole bunch of background stone tiles (dark gray) behind the catapult and use that as ammo, going on ammo fills of 2 stone, not 10 stone.
So if you have 40 stone on your builder, you can lay down 80 gray tiles behind the catapult and use it as an ammo cache, this gives you 40 shots other than the pathetic 4 catapult shots. But this balanced itself very well since firing rate is decreased significantly.
Normal 10 stone shot firing rate, usually 1-2 second between shots
2 stone firing rate, about 4-5 seconds since you have to go back, break one tile, reload, fire, repeat.

    Good to know!
It would be fun to get 3 builders and see how quickly you can fire a catapult. Alternating reloading it in a loop until all the ammo is gone.

You could pre damage them to the state of near breakage for faster loading

Like dropping blocks? Sounds like a plan.

This could be difficult if you don't start from the top down. The new background wall mechanics are really weird.
