Starmade: Blocky space ship building game

Starmade, the ultimate (blocky) spaceship building game.
Currently it's in 0.1867, so there's still a LONG way to go, but it is truely amazing and also, it's free ( although you can still but it right now to support the devs)
Till now, it have:
- Dynamic univeses
- Many blocks
- Players can create factions
- Massive servers with as much as 1000 (and more) people
- Steam avalible
- Mant different, COMBINEABLE weapons

Err, tried the free version.

I find It as boring as heck, I mean, I build a spaceship, then fly around to planets, yay so fun...

I don't find any action in this game, also, it's a little too complex.

IDK maybe the full is way better or the game isn't of my taste, either way it's an interesting idea, I would probably like the space wars.

........In some ways, I completely agree with what you say but the game is basically played in 3 ways (right now):
1, Going on a server and participating in a faction war ( PvP )
2, Going on a server and building a giant ship or space structures ( online sandbox )
3, Staying offline and enabling cheat mode and building a ship

and for the shipbuilding part, you can also just download blueprints off the forums to directly start playing.
and also, currently the paid version is completely the same as the free version, so..... yeah.

and don't forget that this game is in early-early-early alpha: 0.1867.

 

I have to say it's amazing for just alpha, but a lot of gameplay elements are missing the biggest being constant action, I could see potential with this game as a more exploration and fighting based game, like a mix of FTL with Starbound or something.

Currently the only thing I would probably enjoy is the PvP which I have never tried.

 

Yeah. Right now alot of feature that they're planing to implant is not up yet, like modular designs and ship docks.

 

i bet their first thought was to name it starcraft.
