    Basically everything you need

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djIFUB5_1UY

A (originally 7-day) fps based on opflash/arma 'Dark Business' mission.
It involves three teams, various mission objective items and lots of shenanigans.

Gold has a disk, can score cash, lose points if disk not at base by the end of round.
Blue has 2-4 stacks of cash, can score the disk, lose points if cash stacks not at base by the end of round.
Grey starts with nothing, can score both the disk (same score as blue) or cash (less score than what gold gets, less score than from disk even with 4 stacks)

From these conditions, players are to derive the optimal score payout. Obviously, optimal would be having both the items. Easier said than done.
Guns are not perfect accuracy hitscan lasers, and there is a prevalent bleedout mechanic. Bottom line: you cannot rely on them alone.
As such shooting it out is largely unadvised, especially for gold and blue. Commonly, gold and blue try to barter a clean exchange of cash and the disk,
while gray rushes to intercept the blue car and to interrupt deals.
Non-marked meetup locations for the exchange include "dead end" (the dead end south of A) and "top right" (top right of map, preferably not in the sight from the straight road of east map side).
Don't bother trying to make a deal alone when facing three opposing team players, though.

You 'score' an item by dropping it at your base.

Practice driving in shooting range first if you are going to drive, the car handling is pretty cheeky.

The game can be great fun but is pretty dependent on what people you play it with.
As the game is in alpha it lacks network optimizations and so transatlantic play is not very viable.

I can host an euro server, if you guys would like an unlisted/private one. (Shared with DRLF forums)

Is a server up? If so what's the name? Everything looks a bit empty at the moment...

New version is out. Looks like lots of cool stuff but the playerbase seems to be either particularly dead or russian.
We should get some games going. I'm hosting a server at the moment, and coughblockingrussianipscough.

I wanted to know if it would work on Mac, but since it's an .exe it won't work.

    I tried it out.

I really like it, although it definitely could use some improvement (it's only in Alpha right?).

Ranged, thanks for convincing me to try this.

It's a cool game, but the gunplay is extremely mediocre at a distance. Bullets fly slower than 40mm grenades, or shoulder-fired missiles, which makes shooting at someone from a football field away obnoxious.

The developer of Sub Rosa also is working on the first "physics-based FPS" where instead of animations, physics actually determine the recoil of a gun (everyone sees what you see, it's not a fixed animation, etc.; cool stuff). It's called A New Zero http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_DeZUg9HiY
