    So I try to record a lot of my gaming moments to upload the to YouTube. But I don't know what software to use :O
    I have tried Camtasia Studio and FRAPS but Camtasia crashes every time I start recording and FRAPS dosn't seem to save the recordings I do :O
    Can someone suggest some good recording programs?
    PS. I don't want to have to pay.

    As Raron said, there are a few browser based one's that work for a lot of people quite well. Raron has also suggested screenr to me one day when we were discussing capturing hackers on IRC one night.

    If you're looking for a downloadable one, I've used Bandicam. Its not optimal but for little silly videos purely for some laughs it works. I also hear CamStudio isn't too bad. I guess, in the end it comes down to preference.
