KAG Super admin commands

    Hey I am a super admin on my own server and I have a few problems trying to use some non-essential admin commands...

    How do I make it so that I can cancel a vote that is happening? Nothing is showing up for me when a vote is occuring.

    What is the editor feature? And how can it be accessed?

    I don't know how make the invincibility feature work. If you have it is it on permenantly, or can you turn it on and off?

    - need a vote_cancel seclev
    - editor lets you place stone blocks with Z and remove blocks and blobs with X. by default it only works in single player and for guards.
    - invincibility only worked in classic i think. it was permanent

    Will I be able to cancel votes now?

    Is it not possible for me to use the editor unless I have a mod?

    Yup. The cancel button should be visible on the bottom of the map vote pop-up.
    I've never heard about the editor in the KAG Beta. I'm not 100% sure but I think there's no such option to enable it for the server admins.

    This would let you be able to:

    Have a red name
    Always be able to change team (you may need to fight auto balance tho for this)
    Ban immune
    Freeze immunity
    Ignore immunity
    Ability to see people's name when you hover over them.
    Be able to join when the servers full
    Kick immune
    Vote for next map
    Kick any player (not sure if this works for admins to)
    Ping kick immunity
    Rcon
    Spec
    View who collapses what and how many blocks


    Invincible won't work, neither will editor unless if it's either a classic server or it's modded. Vote cancel should work, but I have no idea what's happening with that. Here's what Geti said about canceling vote kicks:

    Thanks a lot for your responses guys.

    Do you think invincinble will be brought back?

    It would be very useful to me sometimes. For example when I am hosting a tournament and reading rules to the players etc.

    Can we start a petition? lol

    Invincible probs won't be brought back because of admins abusing... Though I've never seen a admin misuse invincibility before...

    XD i didnt do it with the commands
    i modded the server's files then rebuilt it while it was running

    Do it from spectator or mod yourself invincible. From the sound of it you can talk with makmoud about how to accomplish this :^)

    It might be bought back in seclev form but I wouldn't count on it, it's not highly sought after or particularly hard to mod in if you want it (you can even tie it to the seclev in your mod if you so choose).

    @toffie0 the vote_cancel seclev (i think that's how it's spelled) works, but as I said requires people to update their seclevs manually - would work fine in this case as he's making a specific seclev anyway.

    Okay thanks guys I understand the situation now.

    Invincible could be a very useful function for a super admin. I think it's something that would be very tempting for regular admins to use, but if the server owner didn't want them to, they would be removed from their positions. Or maybe it could just be added to superadmin default. I wouldn't want to mod my servers because I would like them to stay vanilla so they are listed as such. It seems to me people should mod if they are coming up with a cool new concept for people to play on... like aphelions roleplay or something.

    I'm liking the vote cancel function now, it's great :thumbs_up: I've stopped about 3 injustices so far. People really appreciate it.

    You can "mod" the server without it being marked modded. If you modify one of the scripts while the server is running, you can just type "/rcon rebuild" and the server will reload the scripts without you needing to restart the server, but when you do restart the server then it will be marked modded unless you force update or you keep a backup of the file you modified and back it up before you restart. Keep a backup of every file you modify! It doesn't work with config files or textures, only scripts.
    I can write you a script to make you invincible when I get home, and I'll show you what I mean. I'll probably make a command that is only accessible to specific usernames and make sure you can use it without test mode enabled.

    Hey again, I have another issue...

    My servers ban people for a short while if they are AFK for a bit.

    I thought initially this might be a good thing, but after seeing it in action a few times I have changed my opinion.

    Does anyone know how to turn it off?
