The Battering Ram!

I think there should be one more siege vehicle! One that actually has a reason to have wheels! One where there won't be that guy messing stuff up! I call it... The Battering Ram

The name is pretty self-explanatory...

 

Was originally an idea by the devs, but it was stupid so we got a drill.

 

If i remember right this idea was already planned but dropped because it was not rly useful. Besides, I'm pretty sure this was already suggested, ...somewhere‽

 

Aw... Oh well...

 

Boulders already break down doors. Though...I would really like to see a cannon.

 

Cannons WOULD be awesome... Wow... I'll be thinkin' about that all day...

 

Explosive ballistas are cannons on steroids.

 

I guess... They just seem a little different. Also, conventional cannons would fit better on boats...

 

There are cannons in "FUN" mod

Cannons were the first thing that ruined AoE II for me
weapons using black powder are the predecessor of modern weapons. Thats beyond the verge of medieval combat thats more modern-era like.

The only magic I've seen are people who can break doors/kill people with boulders (i can't do shit with them o — o).

or pick archer and hide in a tree or just use drill. boulders are rarely better than drills. It would be nice if you could use them for rolling them down stairs or if they had a better durability. Besides that this thread is ready for closing.

 

They should roll on flat surfces, just like in classic.

PS: People kill me with boulders by jumping next to me and dropping them, I still don't know how does it work for them.
