The Major League Kag is alive ! - MLK

Background story : Our goal is to improve the KAG competitive scene through "Official Clan wars". This flash of inspiration came from SCTFL, Soldat Capture The Flag League. This league is still running after 25 seasons. Lets see what we can do with our beloved game !

How does it work ?

• You have to play a quick match against another clan with "official rules" (small rounds with an official map pool).
  
• You have to report your match here with a proper template.
• After the clan war, one player of each clan needs to approve the match result in the right thread.
• You will get 2 points for a victory, 1 point for a tie and 0 point for a loss.

How long does it last ?

1. The first part of the season consists of a freeplay period (3 months) where each clan can fight to gain points. End of league : 21 january
   
2. When the freeplay period of the season ends after 3 months, the top 4 clans advance into a playoff bracket.
3. Winners will be rewarded with some special prizes: Kag Trophy, premium codes and more gifts!

Will there be "official servers" for that league ?

• Servers are provided by Guro and myself for each continent.
  
• You can "borrow" some servers to play your matches.
  
• Actually, there are 3 servers running with a password :

[Major League Kag - European Server]
[Major League Kag - Australian Server]
[Major League Kag - American Server]

Clan leaders will be added to an official list (they will be able to restart/next map). Pm Guro or SpideY for more infos about these servers.

Am i allowed to use my own server ?

• Yes, you can use your own server but you need to use our rules and our official map pool.
• Check attached files (CFT Rules + official map pool)

there are actually 34 clans who can play. no clan sign up. this league will use actual clans. Its your job to schedule and report matches like any other clan !

 

we could play tons of matches with all clan leaders on irc. people are too slow to schedule matches. We want to see clanwars everyday!

There is already a pm for each clan leader to inform them that they can borrow MLK servers!

They were all added to a vip list with commands on servers like next map and restart

Some news :

• Already 5 clan wars in a week end, its a good start and we hope to see many clan wars! Dont hesitate to ask clans for some matches (be gentle^^)
• Rankings will be updated soon.
• Siege and AD both died.
• Some clans in the competitive/serious thread arent really active and they dont look for clan wars/trainings. Its quite strange..

This work of yours might really bring KAG back to life. For a time, of course, but that's a thing.

I find it weird I'm reading this now for the first time, I heard about this recently from other people in frisson. My clan leader sangfroid has been in school and less active, we don't mind we love him. Anyways if you want to get a message to frisson it would be better to message me as well. I have the time to inform the rest of the clan and I generally enjoy doing these type of things. I have had little luck with finding clans to face. Zen and AG are the only two so far to really step forward, hopefully this will encourage more challengers. I'll ask some clans I know if they want jump into this with us, we're also open to any challengers at the moment.

 

we are still around if you want to play. Dont hesitate to check clans threads to schedule matches. Zen and ag arent alone as active clans.
