I got bored on the weekend and made this cool spear knight texture pack. I was thinking of making a whole aboriginal/natives texture pack. What do you guys think?

I think that while it looks cool from the stand point of not having tried it yet, it's probably fine as just a spear wielding knight.

Looks great, really like the spike, you should add even more changes from that era. Eg. Are crossbows from around then? If yes crossbows for archers as well maybe.
Somthing else for builders...?

For sparta! Should totally make that knight look like a spartan, that would be bad ass.

Spartan's typically used swords. Also, he stated whether he should make an Aboriginal pack. So, how is Spartans related to the natives?

 

It would be cool, but this pack is about natives, not Spartans.

Spears in the phalanx, swords for when the spear breaks and for anything else (1v1, etc.)

 

We're talking about Spartans, not tactical formations.

 

Yes, we are talking about Spartans. Spartans used spears almost exclusively in the phalanx formation, and swords for eveything else. You said that "Spartans typically used swords". That's not true. They spent most of their time on the battlefield in the phalanx, unless the phalanx was disrupted so of course they used spears more than swords.

 

when they didnt have a spear they use a sword. not really possible to throw a spear and them pull out your short sword in KAG so
