Toggling "Kids Safe" permanent

    So I have slow computer and I have to use Kids Safe because it removes blood particles, and less particles means less lags. It really bothers me that I have to turn it back on whenever I have to restart KAG or simply launch it after a while after I was done playing. Can you devs fix this?

    Posting to get more attention on this general subject.

    Apart from the kids-safe setting not being saved properly, I also always notice that every time I start up the game and connect to a server, the game is once again informing me how to play with its silly little "press this to do this" messages at the bottom left of the screen. It's a minor complaint since it only takes one keypress to dismiss the notice, but you know. It's an annoyance.

    This (and the F1 disabled help) should be saved on quitting the game. Do you have the game installed somewhere like program files or similar? (if so, you'll have to run it as administrator to allow it to write files there, but it'd be better to not run it as administrator from somewhere like your desktop)

    It's weird that other options like smooth shader or fast graphics remain checked, but kids safe and hide help don't.

    Found and fixed the kidssafe one (there was a hack by MM turning it off again), no idea about the hide help thing.

    Just an FYI hide help setting has never stuck for me since KAG Classic, on 3 diff computers. I still have to hit F1 to turn it off every time a join a server.
