Too high ping?

I seem to constantly get kicked from games stating that my ping is too high and I don't really understand why. Even more so considering that the US server never kicked me, while the euro server, which is supposedly located in germany, does so constantly. I live in germany.

Here, let me show you my typical ping to german sites:
    Reply from 74.125.39.147: bytes=32 time=53ms TTL=56
    Reply from 74.125.39.147: bytes=32 time=53ms TTL=56
    Reply from 74.125.39.147: bytes=32 time=61ms TTL=56
    Reply from 74.125.39.147: bytes=32 time=53ms TTL=56

The game also won't let me rejoin, which kinda makes me feel like I was kicked for griefing or whatnot and am not wanted on the server. Any idea why this is happening?

If you're using windows, go to the command prompt as an administrator and type:

netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled

I live in America and thanks to that I can play on European servers without a problem. If you don't have windows, look it up on Linux forums or somethingÂ…

Yeah doesn't work on XP. The idea is good though, I googled how to do it on XP, and now I can play with a lower ping than most everyone else.

I guess it only works on Windows 7. After all, I found it on the Windows 7 forums.
