Quite a number of you must know cause the word has been spread everywhere by now.
Toonami is back people! We may all be just a tad bit more hopeful for the future generations... hopefully.
Let's see what kind of line-up they set for the shows.

Anyone here a fan, used to watch it, memories?

    Awwww yeah.
I'm going to get me some popcorn and cancel all my internets that night.

(Maybe make a room in mumble and talk with some bros while we enjoy the awesomeness)

There's been rumors of a few really good shows being confirmed, also gurren lagann but I'm very skeptical about this rumor because I know that a heavily edited version was on syfy a while back.

I'd honestly love if they did some hamtaro, love that little fucker, but I understand they have to be cautious how they approach this so they definitely need the very fucking best.

Also really looking forward to Yu Yu Hakusho, might watch it weekly if they hop it on from beginning to end, hehe.

    I definitely agree.
I'm gonna ask to see which of my friends has cable so I can crash at their place for the night. haha!
I have a few classics I'd love to revisit but I don't know if they'll just redo old favorites, bring new material or do both. Preferably they'll mix it up. I'm thinking that in order to keep the show as a long term deal they shouldn't just play old shows.

Oh my god yes. FLCL and Cowboy Bebop and Big O and FMA Brotherhood send help. It'd be totally rad if they did new skits or shorts with Tom, e.g the videogame reviews and the TIEs.

Tell me:: Did you stay gold??

Do they have rights to FMA Brotherhood?
I know they had rights to FMA at least (Which I'd love to see, hnggggh Vic Mignogna)

All I know is, I saw FMA Brotherhood and all that stuff on their May 19th schedule, and the 26th-the advertised launch date-- is also a Saturday; could be another block, but that's a pretty suspicious coincidence!

Oh wow! TOM's skits. I loved those. They had written a lot of inspiring lines for him back in the day.

Somewhat similar to Adult Swim in a way, it was basically what all kids back then watched when they got off of school. Kick ass anime and such, action, comedy, all the goodies, general awesomeness of shows. Most super popular anime that most don't even consider anime was introduced by either Toonami or more recently by Adult Swim.

    Examples of Toonami stuff:
Thundercats, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Wing, Tenchi, Batman:TAS, Zoids (FUCK YEAH MOTHERFUCKER!!!), Samurai Jack, He-Man, .hack//SIGN, Jackie chan Adventures (HOLY SHIT MTOHERFUCKER!!!), Zatch Bell, Teen Titans.

    2012 scheduled (according to wikipedia):

Well, I don't remember a samurai show like that but I think that in Sain Seiya the knights there had too fight for some kind of armor once. Still, o.o I saw that LONG ago. It's probably not what you mean.

I didn't like toonami as much as adult swim and their mysterious bumps.
Always loved those, they seemed to change my personality on life a bit, crazy huh?

It's not like Adult Swim is gone. AS has been going maybe almost as long as Toonami. Give or take. It's just Saturday's, Toonami is there, and not Adult Swim. If anything, Adult Swim is still there on Saturday's, until 12:00 AM.

I hope Toonami makes a little more money so they can extend the time block and pay for the rights to host other shows (Thats how it works right) The current schedule isn't worth watching to me.
Bleach - Two minutes of fighting 26 minute episodes
Cashern Sins - I thought his name was Cashem and he was a robot detective with a dog?
FMA Brotherhood - Finished this last year
Ghost in The Shell - I dont get it
Deadman Wonderland - Finished this last year

    you sir, are a blasphemer.

Casshern sins was good, even if you don't like the art, it is a bit depressing at times though.

anyway, I'm really stoked for this, toonami was always my favorite programming block, and I pretty much quit watching tv when it left.

also, hope they bring back outlaw star, that was the shit :)

//edit: dat feel when i already missed the launch... :(

No, its just that i thought anime was really embarrassing. I got the image from a couple of snobby douche-bags with you-ge-oo cards or something. Don't hurt me :C
