This discussion is from Totalbiscuit's mailbox series. This is today's episode for the 15th of March 2012.

The discussion begins at the eight minute mark:

TB discusses how he thinks the interactions should be between game developers and consumers. I thought this would be a great discussion to share with the KAG community and may even guide some of the threads over in the Suggestions and Ideas sub-forum.

    Seems like common sense.

But here is a Forbes article with a different viewpoint. These consumer criticisms aren't considered entitlement in far less interactive mediums. Why should they be here?

He crushed the souls of many idealists but I support his take on the issue, also as a side note I have played tribes beta and I am impressed how well it ended up. I may not blindly follow totalbiscuit's oppinion, but I have just seen a game that worked well under the system that he talked about so I support a system that I have seen work.
