TTH capping and game winning conditions

    This just happened to me in a game: we lost because we had no towers but were in the middle of capping one. I know this won't change because of the already very long stalemate problems that exist. Just kind of sucks.

    In sports and games I really like comebacks makes the game way more exciting. Sure they are rare but I think that's what makes them so uniquely awesome. Now I'm not saying altering this would do that but that game I think we had comeback potential.

    Yeah, I have to say it'd be nice if there was a clause where you'd not lose if you were in the middle of capping another hall. I've lost faaar too many matches by mere seconds. ::(:

    Yeah its so crushing because it was not like the enemy team steam rolled us or grinded us down and earned the win they basically got lucky that we didn't cap there base a few seconds earlier. I think if the game were to continue it probably would have been a great match.

    This should really happen - how is it a victory when the enemy is still in your base?

    The only problem I see with this is that stalemates can already be friggin' huge and this will make them even longer. With water (and the faggots who want to spread it around) a lot of the maps, the longer the match gets the more tiresom and simply boring the match gets.

    I agree with you about the stalemate issue, but I think that problem is separate from @Shambls ' suggestion. If we can find a way to eliminate or minimize the stalemate problem in general, then good ideas like "You don't win until the enemy has no halls AND is not contesting any" become great ideas.
