Use Gamepad Controller with KAG!

    Hello,
    thanks for enlighten me that the game works with a xbox360 controller...i was so happy when i read it and downloaded all your files until i realized it's only for windows. :(
    Any chances to play KAG also on a Macbook with a xbox360 controller?

    Any help is really appreciated! Thanks in advance!!! :)

    To use the 360 controller on Mac, you need to download two things:

    1. Download the 360 Gamepad OS X Driver
    -This will communicate with the controller. Shows up under System Preferences.

    If you find that the driver isn't recognizing your controller, you may need to change the Product and Vendor ID in the ControllerList.txt file to match the Product and Vendor ID of your controller, and then reinstall that edited txt file. For instructions, watch this video.

    2. Download ControllerMate
    -It lets you map the buttons to your keyboard and external devices. Download the software, and it will let you use up to 10 commands in the demo version for free.

    That should do it! Worked for me.

    You can play KAG with almost any controller using Xpadder, however it's pretty terrible, the scheme of the game does not lend itself to playing with a controller unless you only play Knight.

    Yes, this could actually be quite a good idea, you'd have to explore the range of consoles more though. Such as maybe PS4 PS3 controllers which you're able to plug into your computer and then play away via your controller. It would be difficult to get used to at the start but it would be a great little feature for KAG

    Yeah there are a few PS3 specific controllers cause of the BT, but Xpadder generally just works for any controller, so it's used by people with many (like myself)
