Without being a builder, how can i change what block i place in editor

I get frustrated not knowing how to change a block without being a builder, occasional i manage to change from ladders to stone but without knowing how. any help?

 

To my knowledge I don't think you can...

 

Ladders from what I know is the default block when you die. So if you spawn as builder you will be placing ladder.
When you turn editor on the default is stone.

You also can't change block without being builder. (I presume you are mucking around in a multiplayer server)

 

Indeed, still duno how a friend got bredrock to work on his tdm server

 

Sounds like a bug maybe? Ask him if he can re-produce it.

Diffrence between "Help!" Section and "General" secion is the status of the question, this was a curiosity question not a desperate.

 

I don't think the ! is there to make any distinction between different queries or how urgent/severe they are, it all belongs in there ;)
