  I'm curious, how do you determine which colors to use for something in pixel art?
  
  From my limited past experience, I've ended up having to use colors that I didn't expect I'd need to make it blend better. Is there some sort of trick or something?
  
  Also I still love that Monocle and stache hat.

    I always try and use the colours given on the palette, you might find that a colour you might not think'll fit, will fit best, sorta like how the dark green, makes a really good grey.
