I'm busy working on literature, that gift for Sin and Symphony, and trying to get my writing skills up like yours. :P

Mostly, RL, sir. Dem medical works aren't going to do themselves, heh.

    I'll return...soonish, don't you worry mate!

    We've got until August 27 :P

You'd beat me anyways, heh. But I hope the activity kicks in soon. It's like...only a single contest post as of this writing.

I've a feeling that people are waiting for entries to compare to... :<

Also it occured to me, is English your first language or Tagalog?

If it's Tagalog, then I'd say you're a brilliant writer, considering you're not writing in your mater lingua.

English my first language, sucks at Tagalog pretty badly even if I'm pure Filipino (I'm also very white.). Which is why I fail so hard and badly at the subject "Tagalog/Filipino" .

Well, seeing as you have both revealed you're filipino, I may as well come out and say "I am Australian, of mixed Dutch/English/Swedish/Danish/Welsh/Irish/Scottish/Cornish/poss. Spanish/poss. Moroccan descent.

I calculated my percentages genetics and it's 40% dutch, 40% english, 20% other (of which 3.125% is Swedish, 3.125% is Danish, 13.75% other).

    FUCK YEAH GENEALOGY

Off the top of my head I can recall my family tree on all sides AT LEAST to great-grandparent, in some parts as far as great-great-grandparent.

I...guess I'm pure Filipino. Truly unsure on my bloodline.

Also....yeah, delankski has a point, learning languages is hard in the beginning (even your own if you're on another language), but in time it sticks.

What I know: You learn how to speak it last, but know what the words mean and how they're used first.

That's what I told myself a long time ago - I still do, in juggling with my local dialect, but it improves.

    Believe it, Sin. :3

If you're good on SPEAKING Tagalog , and bad @ Filipino Subject, well its ok.
There's a big difference between Tagalog and Filipino :)
Filipino is about us our nation , not a language..
Tagalog is the natural language of Filipinos, but there are many types of language we use here in Philippines .
But for me , I only use Tagalog + English.

    Again ,
It's ok if you're bad with Filipino Subject, I have classmate Pure American, after a year she can Fluently speak Tagalog language , and understand its meaning.
But some of our subjects use Tagalog languages, and sometimes she finds it hard to understand the words written on our board.
So we classmates help each other just to translate or define each word for her (TAGLISH -> ENGLISH)
