BoI, once you get into it, is really more like a cutesy Silent Hill than anything else, both in story and atmosphere.

I killed mom's heart three times in a row earlier

Epic Fetus + shovel = 10 minutes to beat the game

Epic Fetus is literally the best item in the game. During one update, it became so common, I just quit every time I got it. click2win buttons are so fucking satisfying... unless you get it EVERY time.

That was the first and only time I'd gotten it.

Haven't gotten it in a while either. Nerfed it too hard now. EDMUUUUUUND.

Ditto with flying items, not gotten any of those in a few play throughs.

Gotten the holy grail like 8 times and deal with the devil stuff like 10

Nah nigga, shit's still a great item, charge time just got put up a bit. You can also further increase your damage. I had one char with trible max damage. Killed mom in one hit.

I'm stuck in a cycle of getting the same shitty items every run for the past few lives now, but haven't played Isaac properly in a while.

Also I could fill up a rage thread with just stuff from that game. Between the rooms with narrow corridors but charging enemys, and that one horse enemy that charges and shoots a mortar that makes it so you cant fucking dodge my blood pressure is dangerously high, I swear
