I am the epitome of mad. I'm so utterly insane that I go right through the other side, past sane, and end up right back at 'grinning in a disturbing way'.

My disturbing "I'm about to set you on fire" grin is more disturbing then yours...

Not in the slightest. A person knows where he stands with an 'I'm about to set you on fire' grin, even if it is generally dry wood and kindling.

When there is no discernable reason for a disturbing grin, then it is infinitely more sinister.

More sinister, maybe, but you must account for the fact that when someone knows what is coming, they are more scared by it.

Not necessarily. If someone knows what is coming, then they accept their fate, but if the future is uncertain, then you fear what is to come.

For example, if I knew I was going to paradise after I died, I would be proud to fling myself into all kinds of dangerous situations, but if I genuinely had no idea what might happen upon my death, then I would be a lot more sensitive about my own mortality.

The worst your situation entails is a firey death, and the minimum is some mild burns.

Stare into my eyes and the unwavering grin, and there is no limit to the horror that could be contained in your future.

A threat is worth nothing, but the lighter fluid and box of matches in my hand prove that there will be carrythrough

And that's a bad example, you're saying that you know something POSITIVE will happen, If you know for a fact that you will go to hell when you die, would you be more careful than if you didn't know?

Well then, if you're definitely going to suffer by trial of fire, then you have to accept that, come what may. If you have no idea what is going to happen, but you know it will be unpleasant, you'll have a cold, gnawing worry in the pit of your stomach, like a lead ball weighing your heart down.

That's right, Alpaca will evolve into Hella when the time comes, but that time is a long way to come, my young padawan.

I wouldn't hurt an innocent, Alpaca.

    >implying that alpaca has the ability to evolve, lol, poor naive hella. My derpidity levels are far too high for that. Besides, I wouldn't evolve into you, I would evolve into a slightly fluffier alpaca.

I'd be less scared of a derp than your average coldly rational psychotic maniac. Think of being faced with Lloyd Christmas (Dumb and Dumber) against being faced with Hannibal Lecter.

Also, who is to say that I am not that slightly fluffier alpaca? :P
