I used to play a lot of Soldat myself. Now I'm hooked on KAG now, though. Yeah, we can play sometime. What server did you have in mind?
too easy? The only reason KAG isn't too easy is its full of glitches so noobs can kill vets through luck.
The only reason KAG isn't to easy is because what you said (mainly due to grubby builds that screw with combat), and because the battlefield is always different. That is an important factor that keeps things fun.
