Actually, mine isn't on the 17th, but I stick that as the date as it's a good enough approximation that anyone stalking won't find it suspicious if there are a few people wishing me happy b'day on an incongruous date.
Plus I always find it amusing how many irl friends I can fool into wishing my many happy returns on days-not-my-birthday. :p
