    Blame my poor play on being super tired. Also, blame Apronymous.

    Okay, I'll play less aggressively, if that helps? :3

    We seem to have exactly for players; is anyone else up for a game of bughouse?

    SBC are you up for a separate game of chess (not counting the potential bughouse)?
    SBC -> d4
    FBB -> xc5, so I apparently had your horsie on c3 by mistake. I regret nothing, except my move before last.

    Never played bughouse before.

    FBB, your last move made literally no sense, I sorry. Which of my pieces was on b4 for you to stomp, and which piece did you use?

    Your black bishop was on b4 and I used my pawn from c3. Your bishop got to b4 via 8...b4+ and my pawn got to c3 via 9.c3 (http://grab.by/vZ80).

    Ah, fuck. I see the problem. I meant to move that bishop to a5, rather than the pawn. Ah well.

    H -- Ah, okay, that makes a *lot* more sense now. >_>

    Would you like to alt things as if you had actually made the move you thought you had? The only things that would change are 9...a5 (http://grab.by/vZzI) becomes 9...Ba5 (http://grab.by/vZzK) and the 12th round (http://grab.by/vZzY) doesn't happen.

    Either way I move Bg5; just means you're not down a bishop due to a typo.

    So that's why you've been labelling unique pawns in your annotations! You've been riffing them from an automated board.

    My house is half in boxes and about to be moved --> can't use a physical board. ;_; I like being able to play about with the physical pieces to test positions, so looking forward to being able to unpack things at the other end of the move.

    And yeh, if I'm making the annotation by hand I don't bother labeling unique pawns unless there's an ambiguity (as per convention), but as you've noticed there have been times when tired/lazy me just c&p things rather than typing them out.

    Erm, Hella, if your bishop moved to a5 to avoid my pawn from c3 on tern 9 (meaning that after my last move of Bg3 the board should look like this: http://grab.by/vZKo) then I can't see how the bishop can go Bc5 without moving sideways (which seem heretical, and would probably get him defrocked).

    I DON'T UNDERSTAND LIFE ANYMORE. I mean, it's not even late for me. I've barely woken up.

    Ok then. I'm using an electronic board too, and I just found out that, long ago, I could never have made a certain xe5, apparently. I don' goofed.
