    Ok just watched the first episode, seemed kinda meh- didn't really love the characters and the story wasn't too engaging. Does it get better?

    One thing with Steins;gate is that is takes a while to build the story up, so it's pretty much just developing. But when you do get there, get ready because it gets really good.
