    How does sand work in terraria?

    We might add the sand block once there are scripted block callbacks as an example of how to add a tile into the game - but that might take some time.
    I agree it'd mostly be useful as a decoration on desert maps, though you can make deserts by simply leaving out trees and grass - the dirt blocks look quite barren already.

    anyway sand works in terraria so that it is one of the few blocks that gravity has an effect on(like all blocks in kag)when it falls it doesnt break like in kag and if you are stuck under them you take continious damage,but PLAY TERRARIA GAWD GETI JUST GAWD
